The varied landscape of South Funen with it’s many beaches and small islands, offer a great number of several nature experiences. The hills and woods are easily accessible by a great number of paths, including a 250 km long distance walk and a 75 km bridle path. The South Funen archipelago is known for several well documented kayak routes (see http://ohavsporten.dk/ for more information). You can walk down to the beach via our private path. The big stones at this beach are the remnants of old dry stone walling.
At Vestervang we have several horses and ponies. The smallest just over 80 cm, the biggest a real USA Mustang. Guided leading rein walks on horseback, or in our sulky are possible: 150 dkk pp per hour. Or bring your own horse, we can put it up. South Funen has recently opened a 75 km bridle path through unique historical parks and forests, and we offer transportation of you and your horse to and from this path (6km from our farm). Day tickets for the path can be arranged in advance. A horse in a paddock is 100 dkk pr horse per night.

From Faldsled in the west, Langeland in the east and Ærø due south, a signposted trail surrounds the South Funen Archipelago and with its 220 km it is one of Denmark's longest hiking trails. Free maps are available at Vestervang, and if you only want to walk some of the distance, we offer transportation to and from this trail.

You can play golf at one of Funens most beautiful golf course in the hills of Svanninge, 10 km from Vestervang. This beautiful area is because of its spectacular birth during the Ice Age, one of Denmark's most interesting geological areas.
